Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

True Odds is a social casino game made by Lightning Studio LLC (Florida, USA), "we" or "us". This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the True Odds app for iPhone and Android, the servers behind it, and this website. If you have a question, write to support@playtrueodds.com.

The short version

  • You play as a guest. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • Our servers keep your account, your chips and their recent history, and the state of your tables.
  • Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
  • Ads are optional videos you choose to watch for chips. The ad companies collect information from your device when you watch one (section 4).
  • We haven't added analytics or crash-reporting tools to the app, and we don't sell your information.
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time (section 8).

1. What our servers keep

When you first open the app, it creates a guest account for you. Here is everything our servers keep about it.

InformationWhy we keep itHow long
Account: a random account ID; an install ID the app makes; a one-way hash of a secret the app makes on your phone (we never keep the secret itself); when the account was created. The app also sends its version number, which we don't store. To recognise your phone and sign you in Until you delete the account
Sign-in sessions: the platform (iOS or Android), when the session started and was last used, and one-way hashes of its tokens To keep you signed in, and to end a session if its token is stolen Until 60 days after the session was last used (then removed within about a week), or until you delete the account
Chips: your balance, and a history of every change to it: the amount, the reason (a bet, a payout, a bonus, a refill, a purchase, a refund or an ad reward), the round or transaction it belongs to, the balance after, and when To run your wallet, show your results in My play, and look into problems you report The balance until you delete the account; each history entry 90 days
Rewards and offers: your daily bonus day and streak, when you last took the free refill, whether you've bought the starter pack, the day you last bought the out-of-chips offer, how many packs you've bought, and how many ad rewards you've had today To pay bonuses and refills correctly, show the right offers, and keep daily limits Until you delete the account
Tables: the state of each table you've played (the shoe in play, your seed pair and the cards dealt, kept encrypted), how many rounds you've played there, the server's replies to your recent actions, and your open connections to the table server To play your rounds, pick up where you left off after a dropped connection, and reveal your seeds so you can verify the shuffle Table state until you delete the account; replies 2 days; connections 3 hours
Breaks: when a break you've taken from the tables ends To keep the tables closed to you until it ends Until it ends. If you delete your account during it, its end date is kept, under a one-way hash of the app's install ID, until it ends (for good, if it's for good), so a new account from the same install of the app starts on it
Purchases: the store (App Store or Google Play), the store's transaction or order ID, the product, the chips it gave, whether it was a live or test purchase, when, whether it was refunded and how many chips the refund took back, and the account it was credited to To credit each purchase once and to one account only, and to match refunds 7 years from the purchase, including after you delete your account (see section 8), then linked only to the deleted account's random ID
Rewarded ad views: the ad network's transaction ID for the view, your account ID, the ad unit and the button you tapped, whether the view paid chips (and why not, if it didn't), and when To pay each view once and keep the daily limit on ad rewards 30 days, including after you delete your account
Your IP address, which reaches us with every request To limit how many sign-ins come from one address in an hour, which protects the service from abuse The counters that hold it expire about an hour after the hour they count
Server logs: technical records of requests and errors, which can include your account ID To run the service and fix problems 30 days
Emails you send us: your address and your message To answer you, and to keep a record of requests such as deletions As long as we need to handle the request and keep that record

Where a time is given, the record expires then, and our database removes expired records automatically, usually within a few days. Our database also keeps rolling backups for up to 35 days, so a deleted or expired record can remain in a backup until it rolls off.

We don't collect your name, email address (unless you write to us), phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera. There is no chat in True Odds.

2. What stays on your phone

These never leave your phone except the sign-in details, which the app sends to our servers to sign you in. Removing the app removes its settings. On iPhone, iOS can keep an app's Keychain items after the app is removed; deleting your account (section 8) ends the account on our side either way.

3. Purchases

Chip packs are sold by Apple through the App Store and by Google through Google Play, under their terms. They take your payment; we never see your card, your billing details or your store account. When you buy, the app gives the store your random account ID, so the purchase can be credited to your account, and our servers receive the store's record of the purchase to check it and credit your chips. The stores also tell our servers when a purchase is refunded. Apple's and Google's handling of your information is covered by their own privacy policies (Apple, Google).

4. Rewarded ads

True Odds shows ads only when you choose to watch one for free chips. The app loads an ad only after you tap a button to watch it. Ads come from Google AdMob and, through AdMob's mediation, from Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize. You never have to watch an ad to play.

When an ad is requested and shown, these companies collect information from your device, such as:

They use it to deliver and measure ads, to prevent fraud, and, where you allow it, to personalise ads. They handle it under their own policies: Google, Unity and Liftoff.

To pay you for a view, the app tells AdMob your random account ID and which button you tapped. When the ad has been watched, AdMob tells our servers, with the view's transaction ID, the ad unit and the time. Only that message from AdMob pays chips.

Your ad choices

5. The game engine

True Odds is built with Unity. We've turned off the engine's own diagnostics. Unity's in-app purchase library still tells Unity Technologies about each step of a purchase you make (the pack, the store's transaction and receipt, your device's model and operating system, and on iPhone the app's vendor identifier), which Unity uses to run and improve its products. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.

6. How we use your information, and who helps us

We use the information above only to run True Odds: to sign you in, run your chips and tables, credit purchases and ad rewards, show your results, keep the service secure, and answer you. The shop's two special offers depend on your account: the starter pack in your first 7 days, and the out-of-chips offer when you have fewer than 100 chips.

Nothing about you (your balance, what you've bought, your history) ever reaches the code that shuffles and deals. Outcomes are the same for everyone.

These companies process information for us or alongside us:

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our players or ourselves, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

7. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

8. Deleting your account

In the app, open ≡ → Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away, and the app starts a new guest account. You can also ask us by email; see Delete your account for both ways.

Deleting removes your account and sign-in details, your sessions, your chip balance and its history, your rewards and offers, your tables and their seeds, and your open connections. It can't be undone, and your chips are lost. We keep only:

Deleting your True Odds account doesn't delete what Apple, Google or the ad companies hold; their own settings and policies cover that.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you and get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Delete your account in the app, or write to support@playtrueodds.com with the account ID shown in the app under ≡ → Settings → Account. We answer within the time the law sets, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights. If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

US state privacy laws. We don't sell personal information for money. When an ad company uses your advertising ID to personalise ads, some state laws (California's among them) may call that "sharing" for advertising. To opt out, don't allow tracking on iPhone, or delete your advertising ID on Android (section 4), or write to us.

10. Security

The app talks to our servers only over encrypted connections. Our database is encrypted at rest, each table's shoe and seeds are sealed with a further key, and we store only one-way hashes of the secrets that sign you in. On your phone, those secrets are kept in the Keychain or protected by the Keystore. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.

11. Adults only

True Odds is for adults 18 and over. It is rated for adults in the App Store and Google Play, and it is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using True Odds, write to support@playtrueodds.com with the account ID if you can, and we will delete the account.

12. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our servers are in the United States. If you play from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from yours. The stores and ad companies may process information in other countries too. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards in our providers' data processing terms, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

13. This website

This website sets no cookies, has no analytics or tracking, and runs no scripts, except the fairness verifier, which runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. Our host receives your IP address to deliver the pages; we don't keep logs of visits.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change matters, we will also tell you in the app before it takes effect.
